So after all of the holiday, birthday, and Easter pictures, here are more everyday pictures for April.

These first four are pictures from trips to the library. We go once a week to exchange our "Signing Time" video, play, and get new books. Nora love to park across the street and walk across the bridge into the side entrance right beside the children's area. They love to play with the puzzles and blocks there, too.

This next one is out of focus, but so cute, I had to leave it in there!

The weather has been unseasonably cold this month, but we've been enjoying our yard as much as possible anyway. We had a four-legged weekend visitor, and Star loved it!

I always feel kind of bad when Charlie falls asleep in his high chair. But it's so cute!

Easter pictures. Nora enjoyed hunting eggs in the yard this year, especially once she discovered the candy! Charlie was less than enthused, especially since we wouldn't let him scootch around the wet yard in his Sunday pants...

February 2013

Happy Birthday to Charlie, also known as King Charles, Bro, Bro-ie, and occasionally Bro-sky. He is so fast at scooting around on his bottom, no pulling up or walking quite yet. He is delightful to us, and we're so glad he's a part of our family!

January 2013

Happy Birthday to the sweetest 3 year old I know! She is becoming even more of a companion to me, and I'm so grateful that I can be home with her and Charlie.

We got some snow this month! Enough to even keep Ben home for the day, and to slide down our front yard in a sled.

Annnddd, since this is East Tennessee, we're talking about, we also had some beautifully balmy days in the backyard. Perfect for a picnic and for Charlie to practice ruining his pants with his preferred way of motoring - scooting on his bottom.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

 The only non-Christmas picture is the first, of Charlie enjoying some chicken and rice. He's really pumped to be getting some non-pureed food!

It goes without saying that we've been a bit, well, slacking on our blog updates. Is there a word for not updating for six months? Anyway, I'm going to rectify the situation a bit by doing a month-by-month recap.

Nora's fine motor skills are getting more refined. This is one of her first smiley faces!

I completed my first half-marathon with two of my best friends from ye olde college days. It was both exhausting and exhilarating, and we plan to do another this coming fall. Hopefully faster!

Here are some pictures you might recognize from our Christmas cards. Charlie is sitting up in a very sturdy way now, no motoring around yet.
