Six Months Old!

Little Nora is growing so quickly! We are having so much fun with her, and are happy that she has now been able to meet all of Ben's and Mary Grace's immediate family.
New Milestones:
*Nora will eat carrots, apples, oatmeal, and sweet potatoes happily. Squash, peas, and bananas are still questionable!
*She is sitting up on her own to play, but still needs something to cushion her when she dives forward or backwards.
*Nora loves to stand while holding onto our fingers.
*She can pass things back and forth from hand to hand - a little more control, now!

Bathtime antics

One of Nora's favorite activities with Dad is bath time. She is getting much more interested in the wonderful effect she can have on the water! Kicking her legs, waving her arms, and heaving her body are all new and exciting ways to enjoy the bath.

Five Months Old

It seems like Nora has really grown this past month. She lays sprawled out in our arms now, with her head at one end and her legs dangling off to the side, legs kicking away. She is as sweet as she can be, and we are so grateful she has so many family and friends to love her!

Milestones:

• Drinking - and spilling - from a sippy cup with assistance
• Eating rice cereal
• Sitting up with only her back supported
• Rolling over to one side or the other to wrestle her toys
• Better dexterity in her hands and fingers - she loves her rings

We love her so!

Hodgepodge

Take a look at this photo. If you were going to associate an animal with Nora in this picture, what would it be? To Ben and I, it's pretty clear, and we think it's hilarious.

She's eating cereal now! Eating might be too strong of a word. Slurping? Face bathing? She seems to like it pretty well so far, which isn't saying much considering it basically has no taste whatsoever.
